Governing boards of schools consist of volunteers from all walks of life who are responsible for the education of the pupils in their schools and their wider school experience. They are the strategic leaders of our schools and have a vital role to play in making sure every child gets the best possible education. There has been increasing emphasis on the need for skilled and effective governance and professional clerking. Governor Services provides induction and ongoing support and development to governing boards, to help them understand their vital role and improve their performance making it more likely that their schools and the pupils within them will succeed.
