Our Recruitment and Retention service has been running for 15 years, supporting schools in their recruitment of all teaching staff – from NQTs to Middle Leaders to Headteachers.

Our dedicated website www.workinhounslowschools.org.uk promotes vacancies, news and information for potential applicants and is the main point of contact for our successful, annual recruitment campaigns – including our Teaching Talent Pool and Primary NQT Pool. The team also work hard to deliver retention support initiatives including the hugely successful Hounslow Schools Workload Charter – a first both locally and nationally.
We run publicity campaigns and work with local Universities to raise the profile of the council’s maintained schools as employers of choice. As a result of our work, Hounslow maintains a brand as an employer of choice and stand-out from our competitors.
Schools who purchase the service can also gain access to additional advertising and recruitment initiatives.
